Applications
1. Polymerization of styrene
tert-Butylperoxy 2-ethylhexyl carbonate, CAS 34443-12-4, can be used for the polymerization and copolymerization of styrene in the temperature range of 100-130℃, which can increase polymerization rates.
2.Polymerization of acrylates and methacrylates
tert-Butylperoxy 2-ethylhexyl carbonate, CAS 34443-12-4, plays a role as initiator for the solution (co)polymerization of acrylates and methcrylates in the temperature range of 100-170℃. tert-Butylperoxy 2-ethylhexyl carbonate, CAS 34443-12-4, can also be applied as an initiator for the bulk and suspension (co)polymerization of acrylates and methcrylates.

tert-Butylperoxy 2-ethylhexyl carbonate, CAS 34443-12-4, may cause a fire if exposed to combustible material, thus, it should be stored in sealed containers and kept away from combustible material. tert-Butylperoxy 2-ethylhexyl carbonate, CAS 34443-12-4, would be irritating and harmful if in contact with your skin. Therefore, it is recommended that operators should wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/facial protection.
